Production Manager
The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking a highly-motivated Production Manager, located in the tri- state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) to join our team. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in technical production and be responsible for pre-production planning through post-event follow up. The ideal Production Manager will possess a strong ability to manage and communicate production details with clients and crew.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of technical production for assigned events
- Conduct site surveys, client meetings/conference calls and event design
- Consult with Account Management staff to determine budget details and labor needs
- Create & Coordinate production paperwork for all disciplines, including drafting plots in VectorWorks
- Onsite management of Frost staff to install and execute events according to design and budget
- Provide technical support to clients, venues, vendors, and Frost staff
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of entertainment lighting systems, audio, video, staging, rigging, fabrication, and electrical power distribution
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, Frost staff, vendors, venue staff, to ensure the coordination of pre-production through to the successful execution of each event
- Ability to prioritize and manage time-sensitive details associated with multiple events simultaneously
- Specialization in one or two production disciplines, while maintaining a thorough working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, fabrication, décor and scenic elements
- Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive, collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on production experience and crew management in the special events industry or related field
- Proficiency in VectorWorks, 2D, 3D and Rendering
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment and handling last-minute changes on a frequent basis
- Comfortable with heavy equipment such as boom lifts and fork lifts
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking experienced GrandMA programmers who are based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) to join our team on a freelance basis. Our shows incorporate all types of lighting including architectural, theatrical, and concert design concepts.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setup and operation of lighting consoles and equipment
- Programming automated LED and conventional lighting fixtures to create scenes, looks, and effects that complement and enhance the décor and nature of events
- Direct all technicians under their supervision in the completion of any tasks to deliver the expected level of service, providing guidance when necessary
- Fulfill the role of System Tech, Console Operator or both when required, depending on the size of the event
Position Requirements:
- Proficient in GrandMA Series (All versions)
- Networking of consoles and DMX nodes
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and design on the fly

The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking experienced Video Engineers and Projectionists who are based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) to join our team on a freelance basis.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setup, operation, and strike of video equipment for live events
- Playback software operation; such as PlaybackPro, PowerPoint, Keynote etc.
- Operation of professional video switchers including Analog Way/LiveCore
- Media server operation; such as Dataton WATCHOUT, Hippotizer V4, Qlab, and Resolume Arena/Avenue
- Installation and programming of LED video walls such as NovaStar processing
- ENG camera operation/IMAG
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of general stagecraft and special events experience
- Experience operating, calibrating, rigging, and powering professional projection equipment
- Knowledge of SDI, HDMI and DVI signal protocols, as well as transmission over Fiber and CAT6
- Ability to read and execute ground plans

Audio Production Manager
The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Audio Production Manager, based in New York and New Jersey.
The Audio Production Manager is responsible for supporting and working with the Audio Services Manager on managing the overall Audio operations of Frost Productions. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities in the field, office and shop. The Audio Production Manager works closely with clients and all of Frost’s internal teams (Sales, Production, Operations and Warehouse) in an effort to achieve the successful design and implementation of the jobs assigned to them. Efficient management of the projects and events assigned to them, while staying on top of the ever-changing demands of a fast-paced schedule are integral to achieving success at this position
Salary Range: $85,000+; commensurate with experience
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sales team and clients to efficiently finalize proposals and budgets in a timely manner.
- Collaborate on the overall design and specification of audio systems for events they are assigned to, including the use of acoustical-prediction software, when applicable.
- Draft audio systems in Vectorworks and coordinate with production management to integrate audio systems into common job drawings.
- Provide onsite audio staff with clear technical documents for each event, such as riders, signal-flow diagrams, stage plots, cue lists, etc., to ensure the proper quality of service is met on all audio jobs.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot working audio networks for Dante and any system-related networking protocols.
- Coordinate with Sales and Production to advance all talent needs with the external production teams.
- Coordinate with the Video team on any required A/V integration needs in the field.
Position Requirements:
- Previous audio experience in Arena/Touring, Broadcast, Special Events, Corporate and Hotel settings.
- Minimum of 5 years of live audio experience, with a minimum of 2 of those years in a managerial role.
- Advanced mixing skills and working knowledge of digital consoles, specifically those manufactured by DiGiCo, Yamaha and Midas, including integration with Waves Soundgrid.
- Advanced system-management skills, including designing and spec’ing of multi-zone systems with a combination of line arrays and point-source speakers, as well as advanced audio-networking design, including Dante and system protocols.
- Proficiency with standard audio-related software such as, but not limited to, Shure Workbench 6, Qlab, Dante Controller, Harman Audio Architect, Martin Audio Display & Vu-Net.
- Working knowledge of audio-related rigging gear and practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as organization and time-management skills.
- Availability and willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and be on call, as necessary.
- Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive, collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers.
- Comfortable working at heights with ladders, lifts (Genies or scissor lifts) and scaffolding.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Any audio-related certifications are a plus, especially any related to the above mentioned manufacturers.

A1-Live Audio Engineer
The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking highly-motivated and experienced A1 Live Audio Engineers who are based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). The A1 – Live Audio Engineer assists with the general setup of the assigned event or show, as directed by the crew leader, as well as oversees and directs the Audio setup. This is not an entry-level position and extensive live corporate/music experience is required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Execute the technical aspects of each design, including interpreting audio needs and all signal flow plans, I/O lists, and stage & venue plots
- Mix FOH, Monitors or Streaming Audio Feeds
- Provides professional, courteous service to all clients
- Fulfills the role of System Tech or Console Operator, or both when required, depending on the size of the event
- Responsible for setup, operation, and strike of equipment before, during, and after events, including operating all system processors/software, audio consoles, playback support systems, and any audio related gear as required
- Direct any Audio technicians under their supervision in the completion of any tasks to deliver the expected Frost level of service, providing guidance when necessary
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of live lead audio experience required
- Live-mixing skills and working knowledge of digital consoles, specifically DiGiCo, Soundcraft, Yamaha, and Midas
- Excellent system management skills; including building a line array per spec sheet
- Understanding of line array prediction and monitoring software required; preferably Martin Audio Display & VuNet and Harman Audio Architect
- Excellent knowledge of proper gain structure and signal flow
- Working knowledge of standard audio related software, such as, but not limited to, Shure Workbench 6, Qlab 4, Harman Audio Architect and Martin Audio Display & VuNet
- Ability to interpret event technical documents including technical riders, signal flow diagrams, input lists, stage plots, run-of- show, cue lists,
- Comprehensive understanding of audio-related rigging gear including motors, hoists, crank lifts, truss, span sets, shackles, beam clamps, mega-claws, and their practical application
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment and demonstrate initiative
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers
Preferred Qualifications:
