For their show at New York Fashion Week, Zimmermann worked with Shawn Kaufman from CS Lighting to design a magnificent light installation suspended above the catwalk. Reducing the height of the ceiling, the installation reflected the linear lines of the runway to create an intimate environment. The catwalk was a classic, sophisticated U-shape with a clean, monotone look. We strategically positioned 220 light fixtures above the runway to cancel shadows, achieving flawless illumination to beautifully showcase the client’s ready-to-wear collection.
